Our Community

London is located in the heart of Southwestern Ontario, about two hours west of Toronto, and two hours east of Detroit, U.S.A. The city is home to people of all different backgrounds and cultures, including a strong Ukrainian community.

London is the heart of Middlesex County, which is made up of rural homes, as well as smaller towns, communities and villages that together create a strong community ready to welcome you. Industries and employers in and around London and Middlesex County include education, health care, manufacturing, agriculture, technology, arts and creative organizations and more!

Known as The Forest City for its parks and green spaces stretching along the Thames River and throughout the city, London is a friendly, welcoming community – and one of Canada’s mid-sized cities.
