A great starting point would be to contact CCLC, Cross Cultural Learner Centre, for a skills assessment. This will confirm what current benchmarks are.

I can let you know that we have an IELTS preparation course that runs virtually and has both a full-time day (9:15-2:45) and an evening (6:00-8:30) option. Learners need to be achieved CLB 6 for this course.

In the event that a learner hasn’t achieved 6, we do have ESL classes running 9:15-2:45 (in-person hybrid and virtual options), 3:15-8:45 (in-person hybrid), 4:00-6:30 (virtual) and 6:00-9:00 (virtual) to help put him on that path. Please see the attached file!
